Portico Consulting has undertaken a wide range of specialist
technical and technology studies. We draw on extensive
experience of the underpinning information technologies, and on
experience of the design, planning and implementation of
large-scale IT systems. We have specific expertise in systems
and integration architectures (including, for example,
integration engines and HL7) intranet & internet, security,
networking & communications; and in the development testing and
deployment of IT solutions. We can help with:

An area of work relating to a specific IT system is adding value to the use
of the RiO community and mental health system in the NHS. We have
extensive experience of data migration, implementation and operation of the RiO
system and we have developed a number of technical services which enable
organisations to get greater value from their investment in RiO.
Our software development work is primarily bespoke system development or
systems integration. The only area where we offer a software product is
the Quartz system for awarding organisations. We provide full support
services for all of our development work.
